Updating phones using BAT

Hi,

I want to update the description field on all our phones ( 2000+).

I've been trying to figure out how to do it by using BAT.

I have a CSV file containing device names and the new text for the description field.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

We are running Call Manager version 7.0.111000-2

You can do it the following way:

On the call manager administration page, Go to

Bulk administration-->phones-->update phones-->query

Just click find to select all the phones and do NEXT.

There you will find description field where you can change it for all.

Thanks for your answer. But as far as I know your suggestion would give all our phones the same description and that is not what I'm loooking for.

The phones should all have different text strings in the description field.

Do the Bulk Update with custom file, and include the phone name and field you want to change.
