Upgrading the Gateway Capacity

If there is a need to upgrade a gateway capacity (e.g. model 3825 can support 336 phones, but actual number of phones are more than that), how is this done? is it by purchasing addtl license? or is it by buying addtl hardware that comes with license?

if we are to upgrade, is there a maximum limit per model on up to how much we could upgrade the capacity of the gateway?

You will have to upgrade gateway to bigger model but check other post about SRST where you have some more data and links.
