Has anyone ever been able to successfully use a Verizon HPC as an analogue connection to a wan port on an SRST (as backup lines). The issue is that the HPC does not perform CPC signaling properly....no signal drop at the end of the call--instead it places a busy signal on the call. I tried telling the srst to hang up the line when it hears the busy signal but that caused another issue.. Apparently that same tone is heard briefly when making an outbound call.
I have no idea why Verizon would totally screw up such an easy solution. We are probably going to trash the HPCs and shut down the service on our test ones.
