VM Ports are not getting register !!

Hi all,

I have CUCM B.E 6.1 ...

Im integrating Unity Connection with CUCM but Voicemail ports are not getting registered with CUCM

The Device Name of VoiceMail Port at CUCM is CiscoUM1-VI1 and the device name prefix in unity connection at port group is CiscoUM1-VI and the display name of port in Unity Connection is CiscoUM1-VI-001 ...

I checked the troubleshooting guide & it mentioned to check the security mode setting !!! I checked & Security mode in CUCM & Unity Connection is Non-Security !!!

can any body suggest ASAP what could be the reason ??

Hi Anis,

Your unity connection port group name should be CiscoUM1.

You also need to  create a hunt list, hunt pilot number, and line group for voicemail and assign the CiscoUM1 group.  You then need to ensure your voicemail ports/extension are assigned to the Line Group.

Your line group name in CUCM should be "CiscoUM1", Ports names in CUCM should be i.e

CiscoUM1-VI1, CiscoUM1-VI2, CiscoUM1-VI3, etc
