Hi,
Has anyone actually used srm manager to move a publisher for example.
If I read the docwiki it says its compatible with caveats. The caveats seem to be shutdown the server before san replication and always have a backup before ,(which worries me)
Anyone done or used this?

Hi m.batts,
the 'always have a backup before' is a best practice and the 'shutdown the server before SAN replication' guarantees that there will be no database replication problem or delays, during the SRM process.
Hope this helps.

Hi m.batts,
I used it in a 'lab environment' and it works without any problem ... I didn't have the opportunity to use it in a 'real environment', but as soon as more and more customers are using vCenter and UC in UCS-B, this will become a common practice.
Hope this helps.
