Hi
Does anyone know where or what filename the upgrade process creates for licences when upgrading from CCM 4 to CCM5. All I read are generic - an .xml file is created - documents. I need to know where/what the file is and what process creates it. I have run DMA, and I am guessing that this creates the intermediate .xml file?

Once you run DMA and store all that information on to a remote server (say FTP or SFTP) and start installing CM 5.0 server using windows ugprade method, the wizard will ask you to specify location of the dma generated files as well as the name of the file. Once the upgrade is complete, you can go to licensing menu to pull up the temporary license file. You can then email this file with the mac-address of the server to licensing@cisco.com to get the actual license bound to the mac-address.

So........
Is this a file inside the .tar file? Because where this what is confusing me. The DMA tool only generates 2 files - a .tar file of several Megs, and an .inf file which contains a log of the process..........
