Configure IPv6 Routes on IE-2000

Hi All,

I'm wondering how I can configure a IPv6 default route on a Cisco IE-2000 switch. I enabled dual stack and both - IPv4 and Ipv6 - are working but I cannot find any command to set IPv6 routes?!

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Martin

Hi there,

The command to use would be:

conf t
!
license boot level ip lite
!
exit
!
wr mem
reload

This is only a eval license so is strictly time limited. These switches don't implement the RTU (right to use) model so require a license file to be installed if you want these additional features to remain.

cheers,

Seb.

Hi there,

What license is the switch running? IPv6 static routes (and OSPFv3) are only available with the IP Lite license.

cheers,

Seb.

Ahh I see, thanks.

Tried to activate the evaluation license without success. How can I do that?
