I'm actually trying to setup DHCPv6-PD with AAA for my ISP on Catalyst 3850 switchs (IOS-XE 16.12), but Its doesn't seem to work as expected (AAA expecting PPP, but I don't want to use PPP, and route insertion not working at all want using DHCPv6-PD without AAA).
What I'm trying to achieve is getting DHCPv6-PD to work with a Radius backend to get the Delegated-IPv6-Prefix, and the IPv6 automatic route insertion/deletion on the PE router after the client get the DHCPv6-PD lease. Furthermore, I would prefer using IPoE instead of PPPoE.
I'm currently looking at Cisco ASR 1000 series routers, that many ISP seem to use as their IPoE PE router, but before buying one, I wanted to be sure ASR1000 routers are able to do such a thing.
Has anyone done anything like this with an ASR1000 or equivalent router?
