IPV6 DHCP

Hello,

I am pretty new to this. So i was configuring this network(attachment below) and made an DHCP so that my SBC and PC1 could receive ipv6 addresses automatically. My PC1 gets an ipv6 address from range but my SBC won't whatever I do. So I came here if someone can give me some insight what I am doing wrong.

Hi @milosbulajic98 ,

In the .pkt you provided, the DHCPv6 pool only has the DNS server configured. It should look like this.

ipv6 dhcp pool DHCP-R1

address prefix 2001:3100:20:2::/64 lifetime 172800 86400

dns-server 2001:3100:20:1::2

!

With this configuration, both the PC and the SBC should be able to get an IPv6 address via DHCPv6.
