Problem with command 'ipv6 dhcp relay ...' in Packet Tracer

I would like to set interface g0/0 as relay agent. I make my network in IPv6 and I cannot find the command 'ipv6 dhcp relay...' in Cisco Router 2901. Of course, I am in interface configuration mode. Could anyone help me with that? Thanks.

Unfortunately, not all features supported in the C2901 are supported in CPT. The DHCPv6 relay feature is one of them.

OK, thanks for your response.

It's 2024 now, and there are government mandates for the implementation of IPv6 in many networks. So having IPv6 knowledge IS important.
I've heard that DHCPv6 PD IS supported (that is a more advanced feature for one of my next labs), but a IPv6 relay agent isn't (I was using the ISR4321 to mimic my lab environment).

Is there a voting system where we can upvote this feature?

Hi @Nico Declerck ,

I would suggest you contact your Cisco account team to request or upvote any features. There is an internal system that they can use to get things moving where needed.

Is it now possible to use an ipv6 relay agent in packet tracer?

I'm using Packet Tracer 8.0 and it's still not a feature.

Unfortunately, even with latest version of packet tracer 8.2, still don't have the support for the dhcpv6 relay command. Hope it will be there soon in upcoming version of packet tracer.
