Hi,
I have a RV345 router. I set up IPv6 prefix delegation on the top level router. (from AVM)
The cisco Router itself gets the DNS Server from that other router. (O Flag)
I now want that on the LAN that the clients use the Router IPv6 address as the DNS proxy (similar to how it works in Ipv4)
For the VLAN, I have 3 options how to configure a DNS server:
- DNS proxy
- DNS from ISP
- Static DNS
The problem is that only option 3 works. As to option 1 and 2, I do not get any DNS Server at all.
There also seem to be a known issue here.
Is there any workaround or fix?
I cannot use the global IP of the router as the prefix changes.
I also cannot use the link local address of the router as I cannot find it in this strange web UI.
