Hello,

I currently have an 851w router and I am looking for recommendations for a replacement router that will support IPv6.

I'm not sure if Cicso still has a lower end oprion like the 851w or if I need to move into the Linksys branded options.

TIA for all suggestions!

Get upgraded..you will need IPv6 sooner or later..

In addition to the link at http://home.cisco.com/en-us/ipv6, all future Linksys (Cisco Home) devices are intenting to have IPv6 support.

Also, all Cisco Enterprise devices are intended to have IPv4 and IPv6 equivalent functionality (parity) at every license layer:

The 819 or 881 series are very powerful entry-level enterprise devicew with IPv6 support.

HI Tim,

The 880 series routers have IPv6 support. (not sure what their equivalent price point would be compared to an 851)

There are also a number of Linksys routers that support IPv6. Have a look at the E4200

or any other vendor that meets your needs.

Cheers
