What do the status icons on user profile pictures indicate?

There is a new status icon that looks like an orange calendar symbol on the user profile circle. What does this icon indicate? Is it a way to indicate that a user is in a calendar meeting that is not a webex platform meeting? For instance the calendar icon appeared while hosting a Microsoft Teams meeting for one user, but not the others that joined the meeting. What are the rules for when this icon is activated?

This symbol does indicated that the user is in a meeting as shown in their Outlook calendar.  The meeting must be 'accepted' and the meeting must show as 'busy'.
