Hidden Admin Object

Hello Community,

When I go to:

  • Users -> Users - No user exist.
  • Users -> Administrators -> Administrators -> Add Administrator - It states the provided email address is already in use by another admin. 

How to remove hidden admin object?

Is it possible that email address is being used in a different Duo customer tenant? Maybe that person signed up for their own Duo trial in the past? We don't support duplicate admin email logins between customers on the same deployment.

You can contact Duo Support to help you figure it out.

I have a great idea for a "hack".  Have you heard of "plus" email addresses?  They create a unique email address, but the email goes to the base user.

For example, all of these result in email going to user@company.com, but to any system you are logging into, they seem like unique "usernames".
user+duo@company.com
user+abc@company.com
user+tennant@company.com
