A Chairde,
Has anybody used tools to test BGP specifically the conformance, scalability, responsiveness, interoperability etc...
Was your testing experience positive, and can you tell me where to get them.
Thanks in Advance.

Hello,
Agilent, IXIA, SmartBits all have tools to test BGP as per the RFC specifications, all are good.
There are also many tools that can be found on the Internet for Route population etc...
Make your question more clear.

Sultan,
I have clearer idea of BGP tests .
bgpPeerInUpdates: The number of BGP UPDATE messages received on the chosen connection.
bgpPeerOutUpdates: The number of BGP UPDATE messages transmitted n the chosen connection.
bgpPeerInTotalMessages: The total number of messages received from the remote peer on the chosen connection.
bgpPeerOutTotalMessages: The total number of messages transmitted to the remote peer on the chosen connection.
bgpPeerFsmEstablishedTransitions: The total number of times the BGP Finite State Machine transitioned into the established state.
bgpPeerFsmEstablishedTime: This timer indicates how long (in seconds) the choosen peer has been in the Established state or how long since the chosen peer was last in the Established state.
bgpPeerInUpdateElapsedTime: Elapsed time in seconds since the last BGP UPDATE message was received from the choosen peer.
