l2vpn 3600 and asr 920 -l2tpv3

Hi Experts, 

I am trying to create point to point EVC between 3600 and asr 920 using L2TPV3. Plan is to transfer between two client sites stp, vlan, cdp, lldp etc..  Is it possible between these two platforms using L2TPV3?

I know this is possible by EoMPLS.

Hello

L2TPv3 with EVC is not supported on ASR920. Infact, L2TPv3 is not supported at this point on ASR920 at all.

So, i believe what you are trying to achieve is not an option.

Hi Vinit, 

Would you please send me a link of the data sheet of ASR920. I could not able to locate this whether L2tpV3 is supported on ASR920. I tried to create a tunnel between 2811 and ASR920 and the tunnel looks up but could not able to make the data communication between the CPE devices.

Yes, the control plane is working but not the data plane. The below CCO documentation clearly says L2tpv3 encapsulation is not supported on ASR920 router:
