hi,both PE and P router is catalyst 6509
the network topology is pe1----p1----p2----pe2
tdp is used between pe1 and p1 .
tdp is used between p1 and p2.
ldp is used between p2 and pe2 .
that is pe1<--tdp-->p1<--tdp-->p2<--ldp-->pe2
would you like to tell me if the session could be established from pe1 to pe2?
where can i find the document about communication between tdp and ldp from http://www.cisco.com?
thank you ....

This configuration is supported and I have seen many large customers running both TDP and LDP simultanuously in their network for a long period of time while migrating from one to the other. The two coexist seemlessly. No specific issue that I know of.
Hope this helps,

If the question is, would there be a valid Label Switched Path (LSP) between PE1 and PE2 and vice versa, the answer is yes. There is nothing wrong with using TDP and LDP simultanously in the same network. This will still provide you with full MPLS connectivity.
Hope this helps,
