we use OSPF between CE-PE.

however, when any circuit inside SP cloud did not properly configure ie accidently remove

mpls label protocol ldp

tag-switching mtu 2000

tag-switching ip

under the interface, CE still receive routing from OSPF.

Show ip route will show that nothing is wrong but when you ping, failed!.

we use OSPF because customer have ISDN for backup.

look into sham-links. You will need to use these to ensure proper routing lookups (apples for apples).

Ok. I got some useful links on this and will try to enable it in our testing network.

I assume if anything happen to mpls vpn label, PE will stop feed CE with false routing update and CE can start to kick in the isdn.

That means, the sham-links will be broken if destination IP is unreachable and OSPF per vrf will not function after that. Am I right to say this way.
