Hi all,
I have a setup of layer2 VPN (xconnect) from 7609 to 7609. The customer is connected to 7609 port directly. Now i have shifted a customer on 3750 switch port & created a sub-interface on 7609, but customer is facing some degradation in traffic. I don't see any errors/packet drops/collisions/etc. I checked the MTU size on 3750 is 1500, and i haven't configured MTU parameters on 7609 as well.
What would be the suspected issue? Ping result is fine end-to-end. No QoS is implemented.
Many thanks in advance.

Hello FJ,
If the connection between the 3750 and 7609 is a trunk port, then just allow the VLANs that need to be on that trunk by using the command:
switchport trunk allowed vlan remove vlanlist
Also, if you have users directly connect to the 3750 switch then you may want to turn on portfast on ports facing the users and see if they get better performance.

Hi Reza,
That's already done, that is why i informed that the end-to-end network connectivity is fine, even voice is running smoothly. But few applications have degraded performance, even ping is fine.
