MDT SAFI ADDRESS IS NOT SENT BEETWEN ROUTE REFLECTORS

Hi Cisco Experts,

We've a RR hierarchical design and had problems, the RR Master received the SAFI MDT address from a RR clients but this don't send the same address to another RR client.

At first my proposal would be refreshing MDT routes in the RR Master (Soft out) but this don't working.

I attach the verification, I forgetting, the RR Master receive the MDT ADDRESS with the old method via VPNv4 with the special RD:2 and this is sent to the RR clients.

Have you configured the following statement under AF mdt:

address-family ipv4 mdt

neighbor RR-TELGUA-ME route-reflector-client

I did not see it in the information you provided.

Thanks Renzo. My point is that you need to specify the command "neighbor RR-TELGUA-ME route-reflector-client" under address-family ipv4 mdt for the route to be reflected.

Hi Harold, thanks for your answer, the RR master had this sentence. the problem in summary was the filter out on the  family mdt because this doing filter by RT but SAFI MDT don't use RT then was dropped.

i have two solutions:

1) Delete the RT FILTER OUT in the family MDT, because this deny the SAFI MDT address.

2) To do MDT GROUP FILTER OUT in the family, use this:

ip access-list standart FILTRO_MDT

permit host "ADDREDD GROUP MDT"

route-map TELGUA_RT_OUT permit 30

match mdt-group FILTRO_MDT

end
