Hi,
I'm not up to speed with MPLS at all, but our WAN connections are provided by a 3rd party using MPLS.
While the service is very good i am querying the security of MPLS.
I have basic understanding and believe MPLS to be a frame tagging system similar to that of VLAN tagging perhaps? Now if a WAN provider is using MPLS and other customers are using the same links/routers etc;
Are there any security concerns with this? On our router coming in should we have firewalls?
Be very grateful if anyone can direct me to an URL or answer this question.
How secure is MPLS ?
Many thanks.
Kai
