Multicast for Hub and Spoke VPN

Hi,

Can we have Multicast VPN ( draft-rosen ) for Hub and Spoke based VPN ?

As of now we can not configure two VRF with same MDT Default and MDT Data MDT Multicast Group , which is required for HUB and SPOKE topology speically when I have both HUB  and SPOKE Site on same PE.

Is there any alternate solution ?

Hi Chintan,

I have a very similar setup and was wondering what you were able to get working?

I have a hub and spoke setup with 2 hubs and many spokes across the MPLS cloud.

Several CE spokes interface with the same PE but use different VRFs.

Trying to assign the same MDT default group   [on the same PE router]   to more than one VRF fails -as you pointed out.

Do you have ANY updates???
