Hello everyone,
does anyone have experience with this kind of convertors ? We have 2 E1 lines and want to migrate them trough Ethernet / MPLS network. We think to use convertor like this one:
Is there any specific configuration for the switch that we will connect this device ? Any suggestion and share of experience will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello @zumitaka
I'm using this device Mikrotik RouterBoard MTE1 but here are some suggestions that can be applid also with your AN-TDM-IP-2E1-C
- Port Configuration: Make sure that the switch port connected to the AN-TDM-IP-2E1-C is configured with the correct speed and duplex settings. The AN-TDM-IP-2E1-C supports both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet, so you will need to choose the appropriate setting based on your network requirements.
- VLAN Configuration: If you are using VLANs to segment your network, you will need to configure the switch port to allow the correct VLANs. Make sure that the VLAN settings match on both the AN-TDM-IP-2E1-C and the switch.
- QoS: If you have specific requirements for bandwidth allocation or prioritization, you will need to configure QoS settings on the switch. This can include setting up traffic shaping or prioritization based on IP addresses, port numbers, or other criteria...
- LAGG: If you want to increase bandwidth or provide redundancy, you can configure Link Aggregation on the switch and AN-TDM-IP-2E1-C. This allows multiple physical links to be grouped together to form a single logical link.
