I have a rather old network that I have inherited. I know that extending a VLAN from one DC to another DC in the same AS using VPLS and MPLS is rather old hat (I would rather utilise vxlan but these C6880 switches do not support it), but I have no other option currently.
It looks like the configuration is not right even though the pseudowires have been configured.
So the synopsis is that we have VLAN Gateways in one DC that need to be accessed from the other DC while traversing a pure Layer 3 connection between the DC's.
As I cannot find any documentation to reference regarding this, has anyone got any pointers for the complete requirements to ensure successful implimentation please?
