Hi,
For vSphere deployments, is there a way to allow an end user to select from a restricted set of networks (or simply a subset of all networks) when deploying an application into an environment? I understand you can restrict configurations to a default network, or allow the user to select from all networks, but if there are multiple valid networks, how does one restrict a user to just those networks within an environment?
Thanks,
Alex

Alex, currently there's no way to do this in CloudCenter. If you allow the user to choose, they will be able to select from all networks available to the cloud account - which actually points to the correct way to handle this: Restrict the cloud account itself in vSphere (or whatever the cloud is). CloudCenter will use this account to pull the list of networks, and therefore only be able to show those that the account has access to.

Hello Alex and Michael,
an alternative way is to activate the simplified network for a given environment. Once activated, you can define a subset of available networks that can be used at deployment time.
Wouldn't this approach work for you?
Thanks
