802.1x customization with GPO

Are there any recommandations about how to adjust 802.1x GPO settings mentionned in this article

The recommendation would be to leave the settings at defaults unless you need to tweak them for your specific environment. I have not had any customers that have needed to change them as far as I'm aware.
