ACS 3.2 to 3.3 Replication

We currently have an active ACS (windows version) running version 3.3 and recently stood up a second server with version 3.4. I would like to replicate the users, groups and network devices from the 3.3 server to new 3.4 server. The plan is get the 3.4 ACS up and running and then upgrade the 3.3 server to 3.4. I can not take the old server off line until the new one is operational and tested. What is the best way to go about this? I have read that the replication will not work between these two version.

Hello brian.r.johns@boeing.com,

When you say v3.4, I think you mean v.4. Given you can't upgrade the existing 3.3 server to 4 without downtime, you could do this

1. Bring up another new server with ACS 3.3

2. Upgrade that new server to ACS 4

3. Replicate that server with your first ACS 4 server

4. Once you are satisified thing are working with the replicated ACS 4 server, upgrade the current 3.3 server to 4

5. Remove the new server that you used for this process

Hope this helps! If so, please rate.
