Hello,
I have a number of users who are failing wireless authentication. Using the troubleshooter i notice that its show message that Active Directory servers are not available. Under the Identity stores when i check on the connection status it shows disconnected. When i click on Test connection it shows successful. This ACS is a secondary. It has happened before and i removed it from the ACS cluster, rebooted it and rejoined it. Ran test connection and it showed "CONNECTED". Now it keeps showing disconnected. Before i involve my AD guys i just wanted to find out if there is a known issue.
Thanks,

Check your clocks on the ACS appliances or VMs are synced with the AD servers. I have had clock skew errors before setting up NTP.

I checked the clocks and both AD and ACS are getting their time from the same source.

I had to stop and start ACS services and it got connected to AD. I will monitor and see how long it stays connected.

We have ACS
5-3-0-40-8
we faced the same issue when it was 5.x, we upgraded to
5-3-0-40-8
after 2.5 months today we faced this problem. Any permanent fix for this.
Restarting of service got hung and hence we reloaded the server to address this.
Please help on this at earliest.
Thanks & Regards,
