ACS 5.3 not accepting charcter " (shift 2) in shared secet key

             Hi,

I have tryed two seperate 5.3 ACS Appliances and they donot accept the " character in the shared secret key?

Can anyone advise on this?

Please refer the below listed defect.

CSCto72918    ACS 5.2 does not support Unicode characters in AAA client shared secret

Verified Comments:

1. Installed 5.3 Build 23

2. Create a AAA client Under Network Resources   >Network Devices and AAA Clients

3. Given the shared secret with some Unicode characters.

4. Thrown error as "Shared secret should contain only printable characters"

Hence the bug is verified

I did test the same on ACS 5.3 with (") in the shared secret and this is what I saw.

Thanks for that.

It doesn't even alow to input (") or (') into shared secret field.  These two are classified as printable characters?
