ACS and Microsoft AD integration

Can ACS use the OU information in Microsoft AD to assign users to ACS groups similar to the NT groups? If it can what version of ACS server has this capability?

Can I set up ACS to use Microsoft AD as a generic LDAP type database?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Currently we are using ACS 3.2 and you can tie AD groups to groups within ACS. This will also allow you to set permissions in ACS like access times, and downloadable ACLs. Hope this helps.
