Dear All,

I need to change the IP address of existing primary cisco ACS 4.2 (windows based).

Can someone suggest me the required procedure to change the IP address?

I have gone through the below discussion related to solaris.

Thanks & Regards

Ahmed...

Salam Ahmed,

Turn off the ACS services before changing the ip address, change the ip address then turn on the ACS services again.

You have to be aware that all AAA clients will be affected due this change and the new ip must be re-configured on all AAA clients.

If you have replicatoin configured you need to change the primary server ip address on the secondary ACS as well.

Regards,

Amjad

Many thanks Amjad,

I will be migrating the server during this weekend. I will let you know the status.

By the way I have gone through some other discussions as well.

Dear Amjad,

                  Thank you very much.

I did as per your suggestion and it worked fine.

Simply after configuring the new IP address of primary ACS server both on Primary as well as on Secondary, I could replicate the database and now AAA clients can authenticate to new Primary ACS IP address.

Our RSA autentication is working fine as well.

Thanks & Regards

Ahmed...

Thank you Ahmad for letting us know. I am glad that all went fine.

Greetings,

Amjad
