Hi,
I have ACS 5.2.0.26.5 configured with RADIUS .
since 4 days , I have continous alarm saying " delete 20000 sessions " active sessions are over limit.
I gone through one of the forum discussion :
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2094851
whereas it is mentioned that there is bug CSCtj69797 ( Unfortunately i am unable to open this hyperlink ) but when we discussed with Cisco TAC , they do not say anything about this bug however it seems can be ignored this notification since it does not going to affect on any performance.
According to TAC - mostly some device like ACE is probing to ACS and each probe creates unneccessary session -----
but this is been configured only for RADIUS with wireless set-up so how can ACE comes in picture ?
Does anybody got any workaround or resolution for this ?

Hello Experts,
Can anybody look into this ?

This usually happens when you have devices like ACE that probe ACS to see if it's alive. They send radius probes constantly without any accounting stop. This always counts as a new session for ACS and this is legitimate.
The problem is the ACE bombarding the ACS.
So ACS cannot track more than 20 000 simultaneous sessions (=authentications and no accounting stop yet received).
Also make sure that you are using accounting properly on all devices then.

Nicolas
