ACS Migration Question

Good Afternoon,

I need to migrate our ACS v3.3 that's on a Win 2k3 Svr, over to ACS v5.5 on an ACS Appliance.  I will no doubt need assistance.  If I put in a TAC request, would TAC assist me?

Hi,

AFAIK TAC does not support Database Migration. You might get some help from your Cisco SE however you cannot directly upgrade the ACS 3.3 database to ACS 5.x, you would need to upgrade the ACS 3.3 database to ACS 4 and then migrate the database to ACS 5.

The best solution would be configure the ACS 5.5 from the begining mirroring the settings on the ACS 3.3.

agree with Kush you need to migrate to acs 4 before you migrate to acs5 . similar discussion in following link
