Hi,
ACS 4.2.1.15 does not support windows 2008 R2.
ACS 5.2 supports the same.
It is a bug CSCtg12399 which is resolved on ACS 5.2.
The release notes of ACS 5.2 describing the same.
The following link gives details of the ACS 4.2 and Windows 2008 compatibility.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Anisha

Hi Anisha, Thank you for the quick response.
Do you happen to know what the upgrade patch would be to get from ACS Se 4.2.0.124.17 to 5.2 (and same for Remote Agent). Also what are the implications for licensing??
Thanks
Amerjit

Hi,
You will have to purchase a ACS 5.2 solution engine. it is supported on Appliance 1120 and 1121 as of now.
ACS 4.2 is a windows based application while ACS 5.2 is not windows based but linux based.
Also license is required for the ACS 5.2.
Hope this helps

Anisha
