ACS server did not show any log regarding accounting for local user

hi, 

we configure cisco asa 5550 for accounting in acs server. its ok when someone login with acs local database username and password. but if we login with local database of cisco asa 5550 then acs server accounting is not monitored. why is that ? please suggest me regarding this problem.

because ASA local database does not support accounting. It's documented here

Hi Jatin,

i saw another document. its says, if the database type local then it will not support accounting.

if i am wrong then correct me. another thing is it applicable for IOS version  firewall ?
