ACS Vmware - cannot ping?

I set up a trial version of an ACS server, put it in VMWare. I went through the whole set up process, ACS installed correctly but cannot ping anything from the ACS in my LAN (i chose 'bridged mode' in vmware). Is there anything else I should do? When I do 'sh run' I can see g0 with an IP address from my LAN that I assigned...

Please assist.

used NAT mode in vmware... that worked...

       Kindly use the VMware in NAT mode and if you are using the bridge try setting DHCP setting and so the testing by pinging to the gw.

Go to ACS and not shutdown the interface

In ACS

acs/admin#config terminal

acs/admin#interface fast0/0

acs/admin#no shutdown
