ISE 2.6 Patch 1

Hello team,

After upgrading their ISE to 2.6, they are unable to delete an admin user.

They get an error "Server Response Can not delete System User(s) / self-Itesti".

The user is not in any of the admin groups, besides that, customer can't add the user to a group, he is not shown in the list (see screenshot).admin_user_overview.pngerror.pngTrying to add user to group.png

Please work with TAC if that is the case. Seems like a buggy behavior.

which account is used to login to the portal and which account is being deleted? Basically, you cannot delete the "admin" account nor can you delete the account that is used to logged in to the ISE.

They're trying to delete the user "ltesti" and this is not the account they use to log in to ISE

Am I missing something here or something ? I do not see that account in the admin user list.

Sorry, I didn't include this screenshot. He is listed under network access users as an admin.

When deleting the user, he gets the error shown on the previous screen shotNetwork access user.png

Please work with TAC if that is the case. Seems like a buggy behavior.

Remove the user from the administrators list first. It's located here in the menu options:

Administration > System > Admin Access > Administrators > Admin Users

You should be able to completely delete the account after.
