ASA/Pix with TACACS+ login right to privileged exec?

Hi

I've got a CSACS 4.0 server and a number of IOS routers all configured for aaa to that CSACS server and the way I've got these routers configured, it is possible to login direct to the privileged exec mode (no need to enter 'enable' and another password).

Is it possible to somehow configure a Pix/ASA to login directly to the privileged exec mode while using TACACS for authentication? It seems that no matter what I try, it never logs me into privileged exec mode (#), but just the (>) mode. Any ideas. Thanks very much.

J

Hi ,

ASA's and pix do not support exec authorization , so it is not possible to make user fall directly to enable mode.

User need to put enable password to connect to emable mode.
