Authentication log is not visible on ACS

Hi,

Authentication log is not visible on ACS since some days, which was working normal.

As details of setup, two ACSs are clustered as Primary and Secondary and Secondary is set as LogCollector.

Where do I need to check and do to crack this issue?

Hi @kay.kang,

Its been a while since I saw ACS last time

I would start with checking services from CLI (show application status acs), followed by simple services restart (application stop acs, application start acs), one server at a time. Back in days, I remember some service got stuck, and simple restart helped.

Btw, you should realy migrate to ISE, as ACS is EoL.

I am wondering if application stop acs & application start acs will cause any ACS system rebooting or impact.

It will stop and start services which means in that time authentication won't be available, make sure you have backup and if it's VM take backup, i ran into situation runtime procces stuck in not running status, since it's EoS the backup saved the day!
