Hi,
I've configured a C3005 with a group for authentication using a Radius server.
On the group settings on the Identity tab, I have set the Type on Internal, on the IPSEC tab, I have selected Radius.
When I want to test the Radius server, I enter a username and pw known on the Radius server, but I get following error on the C3005: Authentication Rejected: Group password not configured.
Does anyone know what this means? Do I need to create a user for that group on the Radius server?
Thanks,
Sofie

Hi,
Group and Group password will be authenticated locally, when type set to Internal for group.
When you set Authentication type to Internal under ipsec tab, user names /passwd will be authenticated to Cisco Secure.
client is preconfigured for groupname/group-passwd, so when prompted, enter a valid RADIUS userid/passwd.
otherwise, send us complete logs.
Thx
Afaq
