Catalyst 9300 with ISE 1.4

Hi Team, I am trying to find out whether Cat 9300 supports ISE 1.4. From the release notes, I can see that Cat9300 supports ISE 2.1 https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9300/software/release/16-5/release_notes/ol-16-5-9300.html

However I am not sure if it refers to 802.1x and profiling support, or is that in reference to SD-Access support in DNA Center for the Catalyst 9300? Will ISE 1.4 supported in Cat 9300 deployment?

Ise 1.4 and 2.1 would work the same For radius Dot1x and mab as long as switch supports the same, this is basic functionality

Ise and switching won't validate all the release versions

1.4 is near end of life , should be at a 2.x release for continued support
