Hello,

Can someone give the steps to enable ssh access in cisco ACS. I am the administrator for cisco acs and I can login into the gui without any issues but when I login via ssh it says access denied.

Cisco Secure ACS
Version : 5.6.0.22.2
Thank you in advance.

As far as I know, you can only enable it through the CLI.

Hi,

You can enable SSH on CLI using "sshd enable". If still doesn't work restart services once after saving the config.

I don't have access to cli that's what I am trying to figure out. Can we enable the ssh in web interface?

Thank you

Then I would suggest to recover CLI password by using recovery DVD with ISO of ISE.

Once done, then enable SSH.

Gagan

PS: rate if it helps!!!!

that's the right solution... I have gone through similar situation when ACS was locked & I have to use recovery DVD... but anyways SSH should be disabled if there are multiple admins.

As far as I know, you can only enable it through the CLI.
