Hi ,

We have in our cisco ACS the processes view-alertmanager and view-logprocessor in state not running.

I tried to stop and start the procesess but same result. Any another idea?

Do Someone knows what is the function of this processes and what implies they aren“t running?

Regards

Try below commands from the command level see if you can able to fix the issue.

>application acs stop

>application acs start

if the problem still persists, if you have maintenance windows, reboot and let us know.

here is some more information for reference :

Hi,

Stop and start the processes didn“t work.

I“ll try to schedule a time window to reset the devices.

One question, do you know what are the functions of this procesess?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks anyway,  I see it before but this guide donĀ“t explain to me the purposes and relevance of this process. And what imply that they arenĀ“t running

Regards

it is self explanatory on  table 8 ACS Log

if those not running, you would not get the expected log for reporting and alerts

MonitoringAndReportingAlert.log

Stores the logs from view-alertmanager process.

MonitoringAndReportingCollector.log

Stores the logs from view-logprocessor process.
