Hey!

I am running into the problem with CLI password recovery:

Info:

Cisco ISE 3.0.0.458 + Patch4

Running on Microsoft Hyper-V

Hard Disk .vhd Fixed

Steps have been performed:

1. Downloaded .iso image (3.0.0.458)

2. Added .iso to the virtual machine as DVD

3. Booted from the image

4. Followed by password recovery procedure.

5. Restarting VM - login failed, removed DVD than restarting VM - login failed.
Does anyone have an idea where I've done wrong?

@balaji.bandi I have checked the keyboard a few times, do not say the entire day))) I see that's resetting account since the block was released but still cannot succeed in login.

The only way seems to me to re-configure from the very begging....

Hi @vikki42 ,

remember that when you create a password for the Administrator during installation or after installation in the CLI, do NOT use the $ character in your password, unless it is the last character of the password. If it is the first or one of the subsequent characters, the password is accepted, but cannot be used to log in to the CLI.

Hope this helps !!!
