Hi guys,
We might got in issue with cisco ise license which is running out along with the grace period. There is a plan to use a new VM 3.1 with smart licensing as the current ISE one is on 2.7 and being managed by other company. Does anyone know what happens to Cisco ISE after the grace period ? Does ISE works normally with the current configuration and the only thing we loose is the accessibility to ISE itself? If so, is any feature that won’t work after the grace period. Otherwise, I recon that if we do not renew the license before the end of grace period, all the services will stop.
Many thanks in advance,
NM

This should be clearly documented in the ISE Licensing Guide > 3.3 Cisco ISE License Entitlement
If not, please send feedback with any questions and issues to the Feedback link.

@Nick Mavrou actually 3.3 refers to the section in the guide, not ISE version 3.3. The information in the guide is relevant to ISE 2.4 and later.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your reply. It does say indeed that Authentications and features will continue to work as configured prior to license expiry. Nonetheless it is referring to ISE 3.3. Does it apply to early versions as well such 2.X ?
Many thanks
