Hi all,
We are going to deploy cisco ISE in our organization. We’ve planned to configure device administration with TACACS+ and we only have one ISE node. According to my understanding ISE installation must have a minimum of 100 Base licenses in order to use TACACS+.
And Below is the license we purchased from cisco.According to my license
-Do we have a minimum 100 Base License now?
-Does it mean that the Base License can support up to 2000 Endpoints?
-With the current license, can we use tacacs+ feature on our ISE node?
L-ISE-BSE-PLIC Cisco ISE Base License (qty-1)
L-ISE-BSE-P4 Cisco ISE Base License - Sessions 1000 to 2499 (qty-2000)
L-ISE-TACACS-ND= Cisco ISE Device Admin Node License (qty-1)
Thank you so much!

According to my understanding ISE installation must have a minimum of 100 Base licenses in order to use TACACS+
---This is accurate.
-Do we have a minimum 100 Base License now?
---Based on what you have shared (L-ISE-BSE-P4) yes you have covered the minimum req. As you stated L-ISE-BSE-P4 gives you the ability to have 1000 to 2499 sessions.
-Does it mean that the Base License can support up to 2000 Endpoints?
---Yes you can technically support up to 2499 endpoints.
-With the current license, can we use tacacs+ feature on our ISE node?
---Yes you will be able to use T+ feature on the node.
