We are looking to upgrade our existing ISE firmware from version 2.x to 3.x. The Admin credentials we have saved is no longer working to login to CLI. When type in our username, the password looks funky. Is this how it should look? Is it corrupt? Usually when I see the output like this, there is some sort of corruption.
Suggestions? And how to recover/create new admin acct - assuming only way is to reload the ISO?

The screenshot looks alright to me. This page describes the procedure you'll have to use to recovering the admin password: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/identity-services-engine/200568-ISE-Password-Recovery-Mechanisms.html

Right, I was just surprised the login prompt for password had the username followed by IP <password>. Thought it looked strange like something was wrong.. I haven't logged into the console in ages. And the guy who used to work with us, who originally set this up, no longer works for us and the password we have doesn't work. We'll have to just reset using the url provided/iso file method.
Thanks!!
