Hello,
i tried to install Cisco ISE PIC 3.3 in Hyper V virtualization. Disk 600G, 8 CPU, 16G RAM. Installation start and stuck.
ERROR Unsupported VM Configuration
The installation detected the CPU has speed slower than the requred minimum speed, which is 1800MHz.
Our CPU is more than it requested.
Picture below show with more detail
Does anybody have that problem? Please help.

8 cores would be an extra small VM. Have you tried allocating 16 cores (the smallest recommended for production VM)?

Hello,
Thanks for answear, I installed it in VMware with same parameters and it works without any problem. I think 8 cores. I havent try 16 core, but i will try tomorrow.

Every time I've installed Cisco and seen this message, it was correct. What is your server CPU? Are you sure it doesn't have efficiency cores which might default to 799 GHz? I once tried to install a lab test setup on a Chinese NUC which failed with the same message. The error indicated it only had 899 MHZ cores. Once I researched that my new nuc-like test system had efficiency cores, I saw they ran at a base speed of 899 MHz, whereas the main performance cores ran at 2.1 GHz.. I had to return the unit and get one with a larger base speed ( and switched to AMD so they're all uniform cores, not mixed performance/efficiency) cores. Could you perhaps have a similar situation, as your core count suggests to me that you are trying to install it in lab for an evaluation run.

Hello Guys,
We managed to solve problem. We noticed when we increase for example 8 16 Core, CPU clock is smaller than 2GHz. when we put 4 CPU ISE-PIC machine detect CPU clock higeher than 2GHz and installation is conitned .
Strange but it works
