Hi,
I am having the Cisco NAC enviroment (Software Version is 4.9.1) and OOB VG.
We are getting the below and attached Error while deploying on some machines.
"Invalid switch configuration-OOB Error:OOB client "mac/ip" not found."
Some users on same switches are working fine but some are not....
What would be the possibilities and any work around? other than keeping the port shudown for long time means that atleast 10 - 20 secs or more or a PC restart. Customer is not feeling comfortable with the current situation.
Any suggestions.....

Mubasher

Hello Mubashir,
Can you please add the following command to the Access Switches that the users are connecting to and experiencing the error?
"mac address-table notification mac-move"
Please update with the results after adding the command mentioned above.
Regards,
Carlos.

In addition to what carlos said please check the snmp configuration...make sure the community strings match, the port has the snmp settings applied, and you can also check to see if you can read the port the manager GUI and also see if you can change the current vlan also.
Thanks,

Hi Carlos,
It seems fine after adding the suggested command. But, some of the switches are not supported like 2950. So, what we need to do in this case? and what is the purpose of this command exactly?
Please reply fast...

Mubasher
