Hi guys,
i have a doubt on these two process which is responsible for posture remediation boz in our customer environment launch program is failing to do the remediation and i have observed that the agent is running it as a user instead of system and i could observe that csc_iseposture.exe this process is running as a user and csc_iseagent this process is running as a SYSTEM. I dont have much information about this topics in community if someone has an idea on this please help to fix this issue.we already raised a tac and also waiting for the reply but in the mean time i am checking this on the community also.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
The processes csc_iseposture.exe and csc_iseagent.exe are components of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) posture assessment. The csc_iseagent.exe process, which runs as SYSTEM, is the main agent that communicates with the ISE server. The csc_iseposture.exe process, running as a user, is responsible for performing the actual posture checks and any remediation actions. The failure of the remediation program to launch is likely due to the csc_iseposture.exe process running with user-level permissions, which may be insufficient to execute certain system-level changes or install software necessary for remediation. To fix this, you might need to check the ISE configuration to ensure the posture module is configured to run with elevated privileges or to allow the remediation application to be executed by a standard user.
